Here are the steps you need to Remote Desktop (RDP) to the Windows server from your Windows Desktop.


1. On your Windows Desktop, open the Remote Desktop Connection application.  In most of the modern Windows Desktop system, you can simply search remote desktop connection with the desktop search function.
2. At the Remote Desktop Connection, enter the FQDN or IP address of the server in the Text box next to Computer.
3. For Windows Server Admin, log in with User name administrator.
4. If you like to change the log in user name, click the Show Option link to change it.
5. Once that is done, click the Connect button to connect to your server.
